Financial Literacy for Kids...
Why is it not taught in school...???
Children are natural innovators.
They dream big, think outside the box, and see possibilities where adults often see obstacles.
Whether it’s a lemonade stand, a handmade jewelry business, or a pet-sitting service, kids have an innate entrepreneurial spirit.
But too often, their creative energy isn’t nurtured in a way that helps them turn ideas into reality.
As parents, we do everything we can to set our children up for success—teaching them responsibility, encouraging their passions, and showing them the value of hard work.
But what if we could also give them the tools to channel their creativity into something real?
Something that builds confidence, financial literacy, and problem-solving skills?
That’s where entrepreneurship comes in.
In today’s world, the ability to think like an entrepreneur is more valuable than ever.
Look at some of today’s influencers - The Birds Papaya & Spencer Barbosa - two very well-known Canadian Influencers, who built their hobby into a very lucrative business.
At one point in their career, they sat down and built their plan.
If your child is full of ideas and eager to create, they need an outlet to explore their potential.
A structured way to bring their business ideas to life will not only fuel their creativity but also teach them the essential steps of turning an idea into a plan.
That’s why having a simple, kid-friendly business framework can make all the difference.
Encouraging entrepreneurship in children isn’t about pushing them to build the next Fortune 500 company—it’s about helping them believe in themselves.
It’s about showing them that they have the power to create, problem-solve, and achieve their goals with consistency and effort.
What creative business idea has your child come up with? I’d love to hear in the comments!
